The existing system has a SmartSolar 250/100 which is at maximum capacity already. I need to add another 2000W to the PV array so don't need 100A capacity. A 250/60 will be adequate but will there be any conflict with differing capacities? It's a 48V system.
As long as both controllers have identical charge profiles, added another controller of any amperage is completely fine.
