Can't see the BlueSolar Charger Mppt 100/50 Ser.Nr. HQ153FGM1l Firmware v.150 on my Cerbo GX Firmware v2.54 the MPPT ist connected to the VE.Direct.
A BMV-700 connected to VE.Direct works fine.
The only difference that I found : BMV 700 gives 3.5V on the VE.Direct connector and the MPPT has 5V on the + connector. so also the data lines on the MPPT has an higher level than on BMV-700.
Change cables ? Might be a cable fault ? Mine works with 2.54 and same firmware on mppt. Maybe reboot the cerbo ?
I have changed the cable twice and also reboot both, a Bluetooth dongle works fine on the MPPT.
What is the setting of your "Tx port function"? This needs to be set as "Normal communication"
Use your Bluetooth dongle and Victron connect to check and set this.
The MPPT's work at 5V TTL serial and BMV's work at 3.3V TTL serial, all normal there. The Cerbo has a digital isolator at its VE.Direct inputs so level shifting inherently occurs here.

This is peculiar. This should simply work. We know the MPPT interface is working.
What happens if you take the cable out the back of the BMV (which we know is working), and plug it into the MPPT?
Are they Victron VE.Direct cables or did you make them yourself?
After I connected an original Victron cable all works fine.
