Can the busbar be made out of aluminum?

Aluminum busbar?
It can be made from whatever conductive metal you want. But obviously not every metal conducts the same so the cross section needs to be adjusted to whatever amperage you require.
Are there any concerns about surface corrosion of aluminum?
Yes there will be corrosion. Make sure the contact surfaces are clean before assembly. There is some maintenance that will need to be done periodically because of this.
In the batteries we have used we have seen dc ripple appear if not done. Check after a few weeks after install and possibly retorque connections as well.
There are apparently some greases that can be applied to prevent corrosion. When they are used in industry they are usually coated with something to stop this. Not available where we are so we have had no experience with them.
And yes as spirou mentioned they need to be bigger.
