Multi Cell BMS from victron on raw cells

Hello,

I have 4 lipo batteries in series for a 12v automotive system. Does the VE Bus BMS only monitor 1 cell? So you would need 4 VE Buses to run 4 cells? I only see them being plugged into victron specific batteries on diagrams. I have victron everything else, but it looks like I will need to get a different BMS and balancer for multi cells that have no onboard controls.

Does Victron make a 4S 100 amp BMS system for dumb batteries? Or a balancer for 4S?

No, Victron only have a BMS for it's own batteries.

For your DIY battery you will need a third-party BMS.
