Is there any reason the PCB on the BMV 712 couldn't be reversed to change the direction of the shunt? I have a space issue and if I can just flip the PCB it will allow the PCB to point up allowing for easy access to the plugs.
Yes, you can flip it, but you'll need to be sure that your battery and load cables follow it so that they still connect -Battey and -Load / Charger the correct way around.
