Hi, I am planning to install a CAN bus BMS (EMUS G1). If the BMS has any failure it usually switches a main contactors to turn of the charger and the inverter. Is it possible to utilize the victron built in relays, which are used at two signal bms control (aux1, aux2) although it is a can bus connected battery (dvcc). Otherwise i need to install additional contactors?
2nd questions, needed if there is no way to use the built in relays in combination with the can bus control: on the multiplus manual you can read that you always have to switch of the grid before disconnecting the battery. what is if the bms does disconnect the battery with a contactor, is it bad for the multiplus (because grid is not disconnected first)? Is this problem solved by the use of a pre-charge unit?
