Hi @Instinct I have seen some people use the BMV for battery monitoring since the axpert is not great at it. As far as I am aware they do not communicate with each other directly. There is a VE direct to Usb cable and some Axpert models have a USB port but I don't know if it can be used for that or if it is programmed to communicate that way. Maybe someone can comment on that?
There are some who use the ICC software and a PC with a BMV attached to the PC with the VE Direct cable. Again I have never done this so not sure on the details. There is a site you can trawl through if you want to read up more https://powerforum.co.za.
Here is some more info and a video to get you started in setting it up though, you just need some of your battery information to complete the set up. It is still a great little unit to have as a stand alone monitor.
