Got a 2.5kw Victron Multiplus inverter which normally runs at just over 1/2amp at idle. It is now buzzing and using 5 amps with no load (disconnected)... anything simple to check? Took the front off and re-sat all the cables - removed the 240v cable ... nothing obvious - really struggling
should not be doing that ,I would try
1. disconnect the unit from the batteries for 5 min reconnect and see if this fixes it
2. disconect the AC1 in and see if it stops
2. connect a mk2 and upgrade the firmware, (worth a try)
3. contact your nearest victron agent and arrange to take the unit to them for checking
