Orion Converter as battery charger

I am considering using Orion 12/24-20 converter as DC charger from my car alternator (12v) to my house 24v LFE battery. I will set charging volt at 28.4v. Will the converter stop charging once the house battery reach the pre-set volt (28.4v), or the current will continue flowing to the house battery after reach the charge volt?

Current will continue to flow, but it will taper off with the Voltage held at 28.4V.
