Since it is really designed to be permanently installed to battery bank, does it come with a fused output or does one have to be supplied?

Hi @Sailing Novus, this depends on the model you have; all models except the 12/25 have a replaceable ATO fuse on the DC output, but the 12/25 will require a separate fuse at the battery for permanent installation. Please see page 16 of the user manual for more clarification on both the internal and external fusing of the various models.
