Interested in getting a Cerbo. Saw an unanswered question about number of VE direct connections. I see the three VE Direct ports. Can I assume the three USB connections can pick up another three VE Direct items??

Daniel, is there any way we can buy this to use with the Cerbo:
Unfortunately the Octo has let us down badly as it can really hand 10 mppts and now we have limited space the way the system was designed. So this would be a very nice solution for us and many.
This question hasn't been definitivly answered yet because there has not been enough real world testing to confirm exactly.
But from what I understand the expectation is that the processor should be capable to run somewhere between 10 to 20 VE.Direct devices.
If your only thinking of running 6 VE.Direct devices I think you will be safe...
@bryanmccoy57, it's worth noting that if you intend to use the GX Touch 50 accessory screen for the Cerbo, the screen will occupy the HDMI port as well as 1 of those 3 available USB ports, leaving you with 3 VE.Direct ports and 2 open USB ports, so to connect 6 VE.Direct devices you will need a powered USB hub along with 3 VE.Direct USB Interfaces.
