I have a Victron BMV-702 and would like to connect it to the arduino

I have a Victron BMV-702 and would like to connect it to the arduino:
- how should I connect it?
- which cable should I use?
- which is the most suitable scketch?

there are a couple of information available in the Open source document, which could be very helpful.
In the document there is a link to the Caravaners Forum, explaining in detail which steps to go.
