You could just wire a thermostat to the auto start input of your generator no need to head through the ccgx.
you could also wire through the multi, use a programmable relay to switch based on the aux input where you attach your thermostat.
Trouble with the ccgx is there’s only one relay, and no aux input. So not possible there.
If you have auto start enabled anyway are you running the hvac on the inverter side? You could then just start on soc or load condition and you would have less generator running time.
same applies to the Venus gx. However I note there are temperature input on it, there’s a possibility you could hack it around to get it to work. But you might be better to just use the thermostat directly to the auto start of your generator and have the Venus rigged up in parallel with its auto start if your using it.
If your after an auto start panel for your generator the Deep Sea Electronics 3110 is reasonably priced and very customisable.
