Is there a difference between Discharge floor and SOC as far as the BMV 7 series is concerned??

BMV SOC versus Discharge floor
The discharge floor is dependant upon the SOC. For example, the discharge floor will activate the relay when the SOC level arrives as set in the discharge floor setting (default 50%).
Discharge floor is a threshold of the SoC, other than the DoD, which is the opposite of the SoC.
DoD = 100% - SoC
