CCGX color control frying USB memory sticks

Hi , I have has 2 USB memory sticks used for data logging wiped by the CCGX is the last 6 months. They do get very hot. I have gone over to using a micro SD card for now, Is there a problem with the CCGX or is it poor quality memory sticks ( Sandisk) ?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

I have no direct experience with CCGX logging, but I just bought two new sandisk USB sticks for something non-victron related and both got REALLY hot. It could just be sandisk QC isn't what it once was.
