Can you switch the unit on/off/etc through the CCGX menu?
What other components are connected? what kind of batteries? what firmware versions?
GS Edit: Also, please read Q20 of the CCGX FAQ - Q20: Issues with Multi not starting when CCGX is connected / Caution when powering the CCGX from the AC-out terminal of a VE.Bus Inverter, Multi or Quattro
Hi Daniel thanks for the reply
I can turn the unit on and off using the CCGX. But the CCGX does not have power until the multiplus is on or unless batteries are connected.
system has a bmv-700 and is powering a 25a power supply and an air-con
no dc loads besides bmv and ccgx
150ah 48v batteries
firmware version 430
so can you switch the multi on/off when batteries and ac is connected?
are those lead-acid batteries?
also, please update multi to latest firmware.
When you have VE.Config or Victron Connect open and inverter connected to the laptop, you can also see what the inverter is measuring on AC input.
