Does the Inverter Phoenix Compact 2000VA charge battery using AC Source IN?

Hi guys.

I wonder if it is possible to charge my batteries connecting AC source from a generator. I have read the inverter provides a programmable relay that starts a generator automatically. I guess that function is to provide energy to my house through the inverter directly. But I don´t know if it is possible to take avantage of that energy to charge the batteries at the same time.


Please I need your help. The weather is too bad here and the level of batteries is usually low.

That is for an inverter charger like a Multiplus or Quattro. A Phoenix is inverter only, if you want to charge a battery you’d need to use an external battery charger for it
