installation of 2 controllers

Hello W_Kirby,

  1. How close I may install 2 controllers to each other
  2. May I install them in closed compartment near batteries?
  3. Does compartment need to be ventilated? Assuming temperature can be 130F.

Hi

I woiuld not like this area very much.
The ventilation for cooling looks inadaquate to me.
I would not like to mount the MPPT in a confined space near the batteries where there are explosive battery gasses nearby.

It is best to just keep batteries in the battery box and the equipment in a separate space.
