BMS just with CCGX

Hi,

i am trying to send the ccgx some messages to identify as an bms via can, i believe i wired everything correctly as i can candump from the ccgx and recieve data, if i stop sending data candump stops.

however i am seeing only ERRORFRAMES when dumping.

is it even possible to register as BMS if there is nothing else attached to the ccgx?

Hi again,

as there are many ppl watching this, i might aswell share my progress on this.

i've simply forgot to include a SN65HVD230D and after rewiring everything going thru the transceiver, the erroframes i am seeing with candump are now gone and actual data comes in.

now back to coding.

for anyone stumbling over this later, yes its possible to attach a BMS to the CCGX without anything else attached.
