EasySolar 48/5000 shore power conversion

I will have the EasySolar 48V/5000kVA on a boat wired for European 230VAC.

When in the US, if plugged into 50A shore power (240VAC/60Hz), will the system effectively convert that to its normal 230V/50Hz output?

Or... do I also need something like a Charles Industries Isolation Transformer installed inline of the shore power?

You mean you want the 48/5000 Easysolar to be connected on 120Vac/60hz?

Well certainly no Charles industrie products are needed ;-)

When you want an isolated step up/down transformer, please have a look here

Whe you want to be also able to hook up to splitphase connections (120/240Vac ) then please have a look here

Ps in both cases , the input frequency is equal to the output frequency which isnt a problem normally but the Easysolar must be set to this frequency.
