Multiplus II Settings to not charge from grid

Hi Community,

I am currently testing a recent installation. I am using the Multiplus II. The image below outlines the setup.

When the grid is connected it immediately begins to charge the battery from the grid in AC input . I only want the battery to be charged when the PV inverter is producing excess electricity . The excess will can then be exported to the grid once batteries are charged similar operation for the charge controller. Can someome please guide me with the settings to achieve this. Can this be done thru ESS? I have not yet added an assistants. Thanks.

Thanks I Will review the manual for this specific application and repost if anything is unclear.
