Can I use a Bluesolar MPPT 100/30A to connect to car alternator generator via 12vdc to 24vdc dc converter?

Hi!

Will it fry my solar regulator if i connect to my cargenerator(80A) to PV input. I will connect it via a 12VDC to 24VDC voltage regulator with no current limit. Or will the Bluesolar regulator limit the current by itself?

Hi @jacobsjodahl,

This is definitely not supported and not recommended. The intended product to use in this situation is the Orion Smart DC charger instead. Connect them parallel if more current is required.
