Specifically why would one pick the Orion Tr 48/12-30 (360W) over the Orion 48/12-360W?
Thank you for any help!

Orion converters provide a stable, adjustable output voltage. There is no charging algorithm, but if you're happy to charge at a fixed voltage, they will charge, then if the voltage is too high, overcharge.
Chargers have a sophisticated 3 stage charging algorithm, configurable for most common battery types.
The smart models have embedded Bluetooth which can be used with the Victron Connect app to program them. Also some reporting.
From Victron - The Orion and Orion-TR just differ in case design and how the wiring is connected to the unit. Orion-TR models are based on our MPPT solar charge controller architecture. The “TR” just indicates that it has screw-down input terminals that accept bare wiring with the sheathing stripped back (as opposed to ring lugs or spade connectors, etc). Also, the Orion is not available in non-isolated.
Hi, do not understand in total the difference
there are orion, orion-tr orion-tr smart
sometimes describes as just converters, but can be used as charges?
any charging diagrams? IOUU
Just looking for the converter 24 -> 12 40 or 70 A
Can I use orion-tr Smart charger for that , with more features?
thanks
