I have a Multiplus 12V 3000W 240V inverter with firmware xxxx400 or higher. I run it for domestic off-grid use and never use this device to charge batteries. It only ever inverts DC to AC. I use an epever MPPT to charge batteries. Been running off-grid for 4 years now with no issues except the 120aH lead acid batteries are down to about 10/20aH now. Despite asking in 2023 and in spite of several people kindly offering comments and advice I still don't know whether it's safe to just run the lithium battery (LIFE PO) I have just purchased. The multiplus manual offers virtually no information on this subject (only mentioned in Programmable analog/digital input/output ports..I don't have, or even really wish to have, a VE connect dongle. Assuming there are no upstream issues with the batteries/MPPT/Fuses etc does anyone know whether it's safe to use LIFE PO as a power source for the inverter?
Thanks.
