Mppt 250/85 load out options

My batteries are charged to 100% but as soon as this happens, the mppts turn off and the batteries start discharging, until about 96% then the mppts kick in again to recharge them. I have a mppt 250/85 and a 450/100, the smaller mppt has a load out option in the settings, I've set it to always on, thinking that solar would power loads instead to batteries once it reached 100% but that's not happening, that 250/85 mppt still turns off. The 450/100 doesn't have any load out options in the settings, why is that?

Is this behaviour normal? As in this case I would like to use just the mppt power to divert to hot water, but it seems the battery is doing this.

Load output is something else. It is for controlling a suitable DC load directly to the load output on the mppt, not all chargers have this.

It is documented in the manual.

Is this a DC load or AC on the inverter?

Are you off-grid or using ESS?

Is DVCC enabled? Dvcc will usually control the chargers and use PV for any AC loads.

DC loads are more problematic for this.

Well I assumed that the dc input of my multiplus ii is a dc load, which in turn gets inverted to ac, so why doesn't the mppt continue powering the inverter after the batteries are full? Instead, the mppt goes into sleep mode and the batteries start discharging, even during sunshine. DVCC is enabled, and I'm on ESS on grid
