SmartSolar Connecting protocol for Linux

Hi,


I am trying to connect to the SmartSolar MPPT from Linux - I know this has been asked before, about 2 years ago but it didn't get an answer.


Has anyone been able to even get a pairing ?

Turns out that the one site had SmartSolar closer and the pair worked - any other info would be awesome :)
