Smartshunt SOC Inaccuracy

Can anyone shed some light on the below. I’m running 1kw of solar via two 40 amp mppts into a 300ah lithium… Victron smartshunt connected to a cerbo gx into VRM. At 11.00am it was at 51% SOC and 4 minutes later it’s at 100%. The floor is set at 20%, so thats an impossible 120ah in 4 minutes, in very overcast conditions. Shunt was calibrated at battery install about 4 months ago on a full mains charge.

The shunt reports 100% when charged voltage is reached and current drops below the tail current setting for the set time. Default settings often need tuning for local conditions to prevent a false synch to 100%.

Usually for solar charging you need to increase the charge detection time and increase charged voltage setting to just below the absorption voltage. Tail current usually needs reducing significantly, often to less than 2%.
