OK, that does make sense about responding to the original thread.
When I look at the two links you provided, I do not see a setting with the same name ("maximum dc charge current") that was used in the original answer. I was also under the impression, from the original answer, that the default setting would be 100A.
Is the setting in fact just "charge current"?
I am new to the Victron configurations and am proceeding cautiously.
Its a max current, if you set 25A charge current, then this means that the product will charge the battery using its four stages with up 25A while also not exceeding the appropriate voltage limit for each stage.
The 100A mentioned most likely is the max charge current capability of the product that originaly overheated in the other thread.
You cant set a 100A limit on a product that can "only" provide 25A for example.
