Hello!
I would like to use the MP2 to power a mobil home.
There is 0.8 kWp AC coupled PV and ~1 kWp DC coupled.
Feed-in is not permitted by law.
If I feed in, I won't get any money for it and the technicians could cut my power line.
I'm currently using ESS and see a small flow of energy into the grid when the mains contactor is on.
And I only want to use the grid if there is not enough battery or PV power. Otherwise, the grid should be switched off by a grid contactor in the control panel. The mains contactor is controlled by the MP2 generator control relay.
According to the rules, I have to supply my mobile home with power via a plug. A fixed connection is not permitted. And Victron does not allow the use of plugs with ESS.
For this reason, I want to switch to a different mode, but the “self-consumption hub” assistants are largely obsolete.
Now I have seen the “virtual switch” options page. There is also a “generator control” for the grid contactor and a frequency shift option for AC PV inverter shutdown due to high battery voltage.
But all the assistants are disabled, so I can't do battery voltage based load shedding with AC-OUT2 anymore.
What should I use? Thank you.
