Settings for Tesla 24V 240Ah battery connected to Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-16

Hello, what settings do i use to configure a New battery type setting in VE configure in the tab "charger" for a Tesla 24V 240Ah battery connected to Victron MultiPlus 24/3000/70-16? Thanks, Steven

Hi @Steven2309

This depends on the type of BMS you are using, usually set the charger to lithium, and use safe levels (like 24v), if you use a CANbus BMS (preferred) this will send the correct charging voltages and current limit to the system.

Make sure your bms can disconnect the battery by means of a shunt-trip or relay.

I will use the Simp BMS. But not yet connected.

Please first setup your bms, that way you know for sure if the batteries are in balance.
