No SOC on Cerbo GX

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a sailing boat fitted with amazing Victron gear (see below for details of products).

I updated the firmware as it hadn’t been done by the previous owner in a few years and now facing a non-critical issue of no SOC shown on the touch panel, but is shown on Smart Shunt interface in the app.

Things I’ve tried:

  1. Charge batteries through a full charge cycle (bulk, absorption, and float) with float being over 3 hours using the generator

  2. After float charging for 3 hours, manually set SOC to 100%

  3. Restart the system 100 times (cause that normally fixes everything haha)

  4. Recheck for more firmware updates.

The manual said that the SOC should be restored “auto-magically” once the system determines it’s reached 100% charge.

Additional helpful information:

  1. Batteries state they are “balanced”.

  2. “Has DC system” is disabled. Should I enable it?

  3. DVCC is disabled, Should I enable it?

  4. Service report https://1drv.ms/u/s!At-a4CooRT6qmMtQW6GSmzRndiD79w?e=EMOvJ1

  5. Smart Shunt settings: https://1drv.ms/u/s!At-a4CooRT6qmMtPO8vsxqirpoKfyw?e=26aZaJ

  6. Many screenshots of various settings shown for quicker reference (if helpful). I tried to keep them in order to make it easy to understand. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zWH9pjEWn8zTc4yx8

The system appears to be functioning correctly, just not displaying the right information on the panel. Also, a new blank rectangle has appeared after the update (in the lower right corner), not sure why or what it’s meant to do.

Yes, the Smart Shunt's "Monitor Mode" is set to "Battery Monitor"

No, that is something else.

On the GX console, settings, system setup -> you have to select the smart shunt in the "battery monitor" section.
