Smart Solar for 350w monopanel

Hello


I would like to upgrade my boat and would like to buy a solar panel

I decide to buy a LG solar mono panel 350w for my boat

on my boat i have 2 bateries, maybe i would like to buy one more

they are all AGM


Now i am looking for a Smartsolar

but i dont now the size to buy or witch model ?


Can you please help me

I'm going tro assume that your batteries are 12V, your system Voltage is 12V.

So, with 350W of PV power, you'll be charging with around the same power.
350W / 12V = 29.2A
You need a charge controller that can charge at 30A to be able to make the most of your solar panel.

The MPPT100/30 will be perfect for you. This charge controller's output will be maximised with 350W of solar on a sunny day.
If you have even the slightest idea of adding more panels in the future, then you'd be better off considering a larger charge controller.

i can put only one panel on the boat


the system is 12V


can i charge only one batterie or i can charge all 2 or 3 maybe in the future

All, as long as they're the same type/model and wired in parallel. Otherwise you need to add a DC to DC charger to handle the battery diferences

Im curious what would happen if I use a 75 / 15 instead? Will it just limit the current flow or will I damage the unit?

Just limit the charge rate, so long as VOC doesn't exceed 75V, even in winter.

i have a lg 350w panel 2 of them. Both are hooked to their own 100/30 smart solars without any troubles. I cary a third smart solar onboard my boat in the event of a unit failure.
