MPPT 150/60 or similar - power load directly if battery disconnected

Hello,

just trying to figure out what will happen if say for example a contactor removes the battery from the circuit during the day (because of a fault perhaps)

Will the MPPT continue to power the inverter? does this hurt the charge controller in anyway?

any thoughts.

Sorry no answer from me, but one additional question: is there a voltage surge risk ? (convern is a boat with electronic equipments directly connected to the same busbar as batteries & MPPTs)
