SOC sudden jumps

Hello, I installed a system composed of 3x15kVA Victron Quattro 15kVA (48/15000/200-100/100) and 3x200Ah BSL Batteries (B-LFP48-200E)

I observed significant SOC inconsistencies across the batteries. The master battery's SOC jumped from 91% to 100%, the second battery's SOC jumped from 85% to 100%, and both batteries then went idle. Meanwhile, the third battery continued charging for a while with an SOC of 89%, before also jumping to 100% instantly. Additionally, the overall SOC of the system jumped from 86.5% to 95% within a short time span.

Yep, a BSL (and some other brands with same bms type) trait.

You will see it particularly happen when there is heavier charging, then the amps dropoff. (Cloud cover, grid drop out, larger load using power etc).

Second that. The BSL’s were miserable with drift and bad syncing thanks to that horrid generic BMS.

This system also seems to have way too little battery for 45kVA (presuming my math is correct), that is unlikely to help with drift, balancing and inaccuracies.

Given how slow they are to sort themselves out, it doesn’t lend itself to a quick recovery.
