Remote shutdown Orion-Tr 48/12-9

Hello,

I have an Orion-Tr 48/12-9 (so not smart) powered by Pylontech US5000 batteries.

The Pylontech batteries close a dry contact to tell us to stop discharging. The contact is normally open and closes when the discharge must stop.

The Orion requires pins L and H of the Remote port to be shunted in order to switch on. The opposite of what I need.

Is it possible that leaving this shunt, if we use the Pylontech's dry contact to bring 48V on pin H, this will cause the Orion to stop? (Or perhaps 0V on pin L?)

Hi @itsmorefun

Maybe this device.. https://www.victronenergy.com/cables/inverting-remote-on-off-cable#downloads

I have a 48/12/20 Orion myself and switch it with Multiplus Assistants, but that doesn't need this cable. I also have US5000 batts but have no idea what you're doing there?.. you'd need to check the specs of the signal to see if compatible..
