Powering Cerbo GX down connected.

Hi All,

First time post.

I am about to install a Cergo GX in my new caravan.

Due to the units power consumption while the van is idle, I want to remove the power/shut down the Cergo GX while keeping the Lithium batteries topped up via the solar regulator MPPT 100/50 that will still be connected to the Cergo GX via VE.direct.

Are there any potential floating voltage/connection issues from the VE.direct and VE bus when connected to devices such as the PV MPPT 100/50, Multiplus 3kV and BMV-712?

Regards

Gerald

A fine addition. If switched off the other kit will continue to work standalone, providing you haven't set up things like battery controls or DVCC.

But is 2.8W worth switching it off for? You might save 10 times that by flicking off the Multiplus.
