Cerbo GX unable to detect NMEA2000 tank senders through engine gateway

Im using a Victron system on my boat with a Cerbo GX device. I would like to display tank levels from Fresh water & Fuel tanks as well. The tanks are connected to the EVC system from Volvo Penta and a Volvo Penta (Easy Connect) N2K gateway is installed. The Cerbo GX also have a N2K cable installed and connected to the N2K backbone.

The tank levels are available on the N2K bus as I can see them on my MFD.

Victron devices are also available on the N2K bus as battery info is available on the same MFD.

The Cerbo GX also lists the Volvo Penta gateway under visible devices but I cant see the tank levels anywhere. Do I need to configure something manually on the Cerbo or is the VP gateway simply not supported?

Unfortunately I cant find any detailed info around PGN’s for the VP gateway but the MFD can display the tank levels with no issue.

Many thanks in advance.

To the best of my knowledge -and as I read the user manual- the Cerbo has N2K out, I see no indication in the manual that it can poll device information from devices that are not connected to it directly.

Its actually described briefly in the general cerbo gx manual:1725203136741.png

There are also several improvements explained in the v3.50 beta release:

NMEA2000

  • Add support for tank senders with class 25 (Network) and function 132 (From analog). This adds support for the KUS NKC42 Network Converter.

So I think its possible but dont know how to get it to work.
