Commissioning Multiple Quattro Inverters

Hello Everyone,

I have 6 units of 8000VA Quattro Inverters on site (2 units/ phase), and I would like to commission them correctly, so kindly answer the questions below;

1. Can I commission all the units through Venus GX without having a Dongle interface?

2. Do I need to set the parameters on the master unit (and the master propagates to the other 5 units) or do I need to set the parameter for all units?

3. To select the master and slave units, do I need to configure them by changing the DIP switches?

4. What is the password to access the inverter's settings through the VictronConnect App (a three-letter password)?

For an advanced system like this you really need to consult with a skilled supplier.

All your questions are answered in the training and the various docs for these types of system, you really should not be attempting this without getting someone to help you, or investing the time to skill up.

The community does not encourage these types of topics.

With such a big investment in gear, it is easy to have this go wrong, and as a victron forum we need to encourage good practice for safe system use.
