Repowering Africa - Community support

Dear community
after I did the repowering of my PV module installation ("old" 230/240W module substitute by 440W modules) I found that there are 2nd life applications for this modules in Africa powering island grid projects like for schools, etc.
In my concrete case a Catholic Vikar wants to electrify the off-grid school in the North of Kongo.

My first question is, how he could deal with this project in a supported DIY manner. Any experience suggestions I can give him on his way?

Second questions: are there other community members who can support this project with related installation material (cable / connector, solar charge controller, ...) or other equipment.

Thanks for your input and suggestions.

Best Ulf

There are Victron distributors throughout Africa and one well known in DRC called Go-Shop.

Bruce is one of the owners and a very good guy. Talk to GoShop to find out if they have an installer who might be interested in supporting the project or maybe Go-Shop is also interested. As a dsitributor, they can also talk to Victron to see if Victron is interested or able to support the project.
