SmartSolar MPPT 150/35 & 150/45 DVC-A?

Does anyone know if the SmartSolar 150/35 and 150/45 have sufficient isolation between the PV and battery terminals to be considered DVC-A compliant if the PV voltage is DVC-B? Is the reference to IEC 62109-1 in the manual enough to answer my question?

There is no isolation between PV and battery on the "smaller" MPPTs, they are using a common negative terminal, only the RS models feature full galvanic isolation between PV and battery.

Im not sure what DVC calls for, but guessing from how you asked, there needs to be isolation to be compliant.

Reading up on this (the term DVC is not used where i live, but the effective voltage levels are the same), if your PV system stays below 120VDC, then it fits into DVC-B. However, since theres no isolation between PV and battery, also the battery circuit needs to be treated like DVC-B

Local Victron support confirmed that the PV negative and battery negative are internally connected.

Also there are statements in Wiring Unlimited sections 7.6 and 7.7 that say the PV input is not isolated from the battery terminals.
