Hello all,
I have a Victron system (12/2000 inverter, cerbo, solar, etc) installed on a Grand Design RV. I put the system in a few months ago and it all worked together with shore power and the onboard generator (Onan QG 4000) like a champ when boondocking. Recently (after the most recent firmware update for the inverter and Cerbo), the inverter no longer recognizes the generator as a source of AC power. It's getting good voltage through the WFCO automatic transfer switch (122.2 voltages when I last checked) and passing it through to output terminals. But the inverter isn't switching out of inverting mode and the Cerbo screen shows a blank for grid power whenever the generator is running. When I shut the generator off and shore power takes over, the system sees shore power and everything works as expected.
Did the recent firmware update change something? or is there something that I can check to see if the generator output is somehow objectionable to the inverter? Again the same setup worked just a few weeks ago in a cross country boondocking trip.
Thx,
Nick
