I'm interested in the IP22 charger, but the short AC power cord is a bit of an issue for me. Is it possible to lengthen the cable? Looking for a suggestion.

For the sake of warranty you ideally don't want to modify the product.
Is there a reason why an extension with a socket can't be run to the desired point?
I have an existing power entry port on my boat, and it’s a fair distance from where I want to place this new charger (if I purchase it). The existing one also makes it very easy to plug into shore power, it’s port side aft and only a couple feet from the dock.
As @Alexandra says, just get an extension cord. Modifying the charger's prewired connector technically voids the warranty, so much better idea -and far simpler in any case- to avoid modifying it and plug it into an extension cord instead.
