I have just installed a Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC 12/12-30A DC-DC Non-Isolated Charger (360W) in my 2018 Mercedes Sprinter.
I am using it charge a 280 AH LiFeP04 lithium battery. I have followed all of the proper installation guidance regarding cable sizes, lengths and fuses.
When I drive the van the battery appears to be charging the battery as intended, however if I run the van for a short period the turn the engine off I have trouble getting the van to start. If I leave it 10 minutes the van starts no problem. I have removed the positive cable and run the van without it and there are no issues. Equally I have tested the battery and it is ok so I assume it may be something to do with my settings in the Victron Connect App?
I have it set to the default settings to match my install. Any ideas or help appreciated!
