Cerbo GX with GlobalLink 520

I wanted to find out can you interconnect the GlobalLink 520 with a Cerbo GX unit.

The use case is for a Sprinter Van towing an enclosed cargo trailer. I was hoping the GlobalLink 520 could be in the cargo trailer and the Cerbo GX in the sprinter van. Both trailer and van have solar on the roofs along with independent battery systems. There will be times when both van/trailer will be interconnected but there will be times they will be disconnected and separated. The trailer can use separate LTE from the GlobalLink 520 to report back on solar/battery metrics to VRM while the Van is disconnected.

Will connecting the VE.Direct ports between the GlobalLink 520 and the Cerbo allow this interconnectivity?

No, you cannot connect the global link directly the GX device.

Only direct connections to the devices listed here are supported:
