I need to be able to quickly adjust the charging rate of my Skylla-TG 24/50 GL at the charger with the cover on. The manual says to use the optional "Skylla Control" panel- with the potentiometer on the panel wired to the chargers “+ pot” and “-pot” connector. The control panel seems very expensive for what it is- just a potentiometer and some LEDs (showing charging status). I dont need the LEDs as the charging status is already shown on the charger front panel. If I could just get a regular potentiometer and mount it on the charger myself- looks a simpler solution and much cheaper (not needing the extra external control panel/ box). But what value potentiometer would I need? What is the value of the potentiometer in the expensive Skylla Control panel?- 10kΩ?, 100kΩ? or is some special other potentiomenter with a switch in it?
