My Smart Shunt shows the charging status of battery when RV engine running or plugged into outlet. Does not show charging status using solar or generator. The batteries are charging with the dolor and generator. Why no charging status showing?

Smart shunt doesn’t show charging
The first thing to check is is everything connected on the correct side of the shunt?
Nothing is allowed to be connected to the battery negative directly. The shunt load side is the new negative.
Simple diagram here, the usual mistake is connecting the solar negative direct to the battery, when it must go to the shunt.
