Bluetooth connection issues with 150/100 MPPT Controllers - App requiring location

I have a 150 /100 Smartsolar MPPT controller, and for some reason I can no longer get a bluetooth connection. It worked fine for the first couple of months. It Tells me, "Location disabled. Android requires location services be enabled to scan Bluetooth low energy devices. Open location settings". I go to app permissions and check , and location is definitely switched on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mickyo

Have you enabled the "global" location option in the Android pull-down menu?

Thanks for your suggestion Nigel, I know the "global" location option in the Android pull-down menu? that you speak of, but mine is different and doesn't have the location option like yours does, but I'll keep looking.
