i’m looking to upgrade my system from growatt to victron, but i want to stay with the growatt batteries that has a comm cable which i think is a BMS. somebody know if victron multiplus 2 is compatible with the bms of growatt batteries ?

The supported batteries are listed here:

If it's not on the list then you need to contact the battery manufacturer for guidance.
You don't have to have the BMS connected, you can just use a shunt and manage it old school.
You can also just type "growatt" into the search bar and see what pops out.
