what we are wanting to do is keep using our old 24v lead battery bank and old inverter and then using a new 48v victron with fresh lifepo4 battery bank
is it possible to limit the AC input wattage ? so that it does not try drawing more power then the input inverters output ? also anyway to set a import limit for the day ? ie not over discharge the other 24v battery bank the 48v victron will not know about ? or best to put a smart shunt on the other battery bank , but my understanding is the victron can not manage differnt voltages ?
currently using 9kw grid tied inverter to AC couple on the output side to handle peak daytime loads and charge batteries through the victron
I am wanting the 48v lifepo4 to handle all peak loads , especally kitchen at dinner time , and then want the old inverter to idle along to keep running fridges etc overnight
