Will setting the solar charger absorption voltage to > 66 volts damage the Multiplus 48V inverter?

According to the answer at question https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/277180/maximum-charge-voltage-setting-on-150100-mppt.html one can set the MPPT solar charge controller to 69.56 volts maximum.

I can remember in the documentation somewhere that there was a warning that other devices might need to be disconnected because such a high voltage might damage some devices. Not sure if this applies to the Multiplus and EasySolar devices.

The 230Vac Multiplus II (48V) and/or EasySolar-II GX Technical Specifications state for the inverter: "Input voltage range: 38 - 66V".

Not sure if I should read the 66V as absolute maximum, or as the inverter will stop running above 66 volts.

Will the (inverter in a) 230Vac Multiplus II (48V) and/or EasySolar-II GX become permanently damaged when setting a charge controller voltage > 66 volts?
